Don't just watch the team, be a part of the team! This has been the battle cry of the Champions Club for the last eight years. However, as the Celts move into their 2nd decade, they are proud to announce a change in the name of this very important athletic support group. The Champions Club is being re-named and re-branded as the CELTS CLUB.
Fans, friends and alumni who have donated in the past have been an integral part of the Celts athletic department's success. It is important to Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports, Todd Smith, that everyone feels part of the team. "Many people have contributed to this fund and it has really helped us navigate the waters during the early years of our athletic department. We hope our past supporters will continue to contribute and new Celt fans will become annual members of the Celts Club. By re-branding this group the Celts Club, we want members to know they are truly part of our team. This group will change in name only; everything else will stay the same".
The CELTS CLUB seeks to strengthen the University of St. Thomas' intercollegiate athletic program by enriching the student-athlete experience. The CELTS CLUB invites participation by alumni and friends who want to contribute financially to intercollegiate athletics at St. Thomas. If you would like to support the Celts, become a member of the CELTS CLUB. Every contribution will be dedicated to improving our student-athletes' daily life and the advancement of UST Athletics while promoting community awareness about the University.
